Hey! This is my second project; a pinch pot. Basically, all I did was wedge a piece of clay and pinched at it until I got the shape you see before you. I also added a foot, mine is big and square and is hardly noticeable. For this piece, I choose to make the parallel sides symmetrical, so essentially I only have two different designs. I made both using a needle and one design differs from the other because one is a lot more intricate and complicated, contrasting to the simpler design scratched in on the other side. Originally, I had planned to make the pot purple and blue and orange and yellow on the other side, however I totally misjudged how much glaze to use. Thus, you have the pot you see in front of you. T__T But, I'll make sure to get it right next time. :)
